Branding is an opportunity to really sit down with a company and find out who they are, and what their voice can be. I don’t look at it as simply designing a logo; it’s creating a face for a business to gain trust with it’s customer.
When the Seattle Pickle Co came to me, they knew they wanted a connection to Washington’s mixture of water and farmland, and to capitalize on the fact that no one else had taken the name Seattle Pickle Co! It seemed as though it could have been a 60 year old company…I wanted their jars and products to look like they had been unloaded from an old boat 20 years ago. I designed a distressed logo, and created a system for customers to easily identify which jar contained which product.
“Land & Sea, Combined & Brined”.
I can copy-write too! Yay!
(But on a serious note, I have done quite a lot of copywriting with almost all the brands I’ve worked with, from packaging, to email content)
Look at all those pickles. They’re delicious too…try them if you see them. They’re in most major grocery stores and quality deli’s too…the system works!
If you’re looking for a workout that completely kicks your butt, and makes muscles that were previously undiscovered suddenly pop into quivering life, but you only have about 45 minutes to spare, look no further than Studio 45.
While their first location was being designed and built, I created their logo and signage for their studio, merchandise, website, etc. It had to be bold, simple, and summarize the 45 minute workout time, with a sexy edge. Remember Studio 54? Yeah.
